Mt. Diablo Village thrives in bringing vitality and vibrancy in the aging process. We also provide services by our vetted volunteers. We believe health span is important as we age. It’s also comforting to know that help and resources are readily available when we need them. This is what the Village Movement is about. Stay connected. Be supported. We officially launched on February 25, 2026. Join us.

What is Mt. Diablo Village (MDV)?
A vibrant community helping older adults stay active, connected and supported through:
Social Events • Walks • Health and Fitness • Learning • Book Club • Guest Speakers • Volunteer Support.
Mt. Diablo Village will accept members from other nearby cities. Non-Walnut Creek members shall apply with an understanding that service requests will be unlikely to be fulfilled, but will have full access to our other programs and events.
Our events include the East Bay Regional Park's Trails Challenge (a hiking program with a goal and rewards), Book Club, Performing Arts Club, A Taste of Qi Gong, Peregrine Falcon's Come Back Story, and many senior service related presentations. Our Muffin Mondays and Walnut Creek Downtown Walks are ongoing.
